Madrid / Andalucia - December 2001 / January 2002
After Christmas in December 2001, I spent several days in Madrid studying Spanish (during the winter break from my second year of law school). On New Year's Eve, a friend and I drove through Andalucia to Grenada to see the Alhambra (which was unfortunately closed). The following weekend, I took a bus to see the sights of Toledo. Copied below are some of the pictures from that winter trip.

During the summer of 2002, I pursued a legal internship with Kirkland & Ellis in London. At the end of that assignment, I spent a few weeks studying Spanish in San Sebastien, Spain and preparing for the start of business school at Wharton (brushing up on calculus and the like). Below are some of the pictures I took during that trip in both San Sebastien and Bilbao.
